Edmond Parks & Recreation is pleased to offer a 1st and 2nd grade co-ed program for the spring 2009 lacrosse season. This developmental non-contact program will consist of two play days to teach basic skills. Following that there will be six games (7player v 7player) on a shortened field. Games will follow modified girls rules—no contact—no goalie.

Practices will be held once a week for 30 minutes with game immediately following. Games will consist of 15 minute running-time halves and coaches are encouraged to go on the field during play. Since this is a new program, the emphasis is on learning lacrosse and having fun.
Our goal is to promote youth lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes fun while developing skills, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and integrity.
